As I mentioned, I’ll be returning to regular weekly Art All Around Us newsletters in two weeks. I’m in Paris at the moment, for the first time and coming across a lot art-wise - shocking I know - inside and outside, planned and unplanned. Here are a few very cool photos (by photographers that that the curators were not able to identify) that I saw on a gate outside of a little park - an exhibit of women who were allowed into the sports world in France in the early 1920s:
Wouldn’t it be great to have an exhibit like this of the earliest photos of Bronx women athletes?!
And I loved this outdoor exhibit of photos of all kinds of workers involved with the restoration of Notre-Dame.
